Dance Workshops

Latin Madness proudly invites Jose Martinez and his partner Megumi Takegami from Sabor Dance Company in Cairns to instruct us in the beautiful ways of Salsa. There will be very specific on ways to listen and understand salsa and also hints and better ways to improve your social dancing. There will be plenty of partner work and some basic moves that we will perform to music.

Schedule for Weekend

1. Friday Night grab Jose and Megumi from the airport
2. Head up town to promote Latin Madness with Jose and Megumi - all welcome outside The Code from 9:00pm
3. Saturday workshop as below
4. Sunday morning - private lessons may be available
5. Sunday night - Jose and Megumi fly home

Schedule for Workshop

1. 10:00am - Meet at Blue Water Quay
2. 10:30am - Start workshop with Jose and Megumi
3. 1:00pm – Break for lunch and free dance
4. 1:30pm – Continue workshop
5. 3:30pm – Finish workshop – wind down for an hour, hang out
6. 7:00pm - Dinner at Old Railway Hotel (Langford's)
7. 8:30pm – Dance party – all welcome

Members are FREE!!! Non-members - $50 per person. Includes workshop and dance after party. Special offer for under 16 - Free.
